The Aso area is a popular tourist destination where you can explore the Satoyama areas where people have lived for many years and the magnificent grasslands. This guided tour is a “guided tour” style tour where you will ride a sports bike around the roads used by local residents and historic shrines under the guidance of a guide.
As you slowly drive through historic old towns and rural villages, the beautiful countryside surrounded by the unique mountains of the Aso Caldera gradually comes into view.
A roadside station lined with local vegetables, a shrine that supports the faith of Aso, and the vast rice fields and the mountains that surround them. The guide will explain the route, which is about 10 km long, and you will take a leisurely 1.5 hour tour. The route we have chosen will allow you to fully experience the “ordinary” local scenery, the lives of the people, and the Satoyama lifestyle where nature and humans coexist.
